Kristie L. Bailey, M.A.
Biography
Kristie graduated from Houghton College with a BA in Psychology and then completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University in 2017. She has worked at Utica University since 2021. Before that she gained clinical experience in a residential setting working with children and teens, in the foster care system and in substance use out-patient treatment.
Kristie uses a cognitive behavioral approach to counseling with mindfulness and motivational interviewing sprinkled in. She believes you are the expert in your own life and will follow your lead with where and how changes will be made.
In her spare time, Kristie enjoys spending time raising a family and spoiling her husband. She is an expert thrifter and knows where all the good thrift stores are in the Utica area and might even share them with you.
